LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Jacob Bower, one of four quarterbacks hoping to be the starter for McNeese in 2010, threw for four touchdowns and 195 yards in the second scrimmage of the fall for the Pokes.

Bower took all of the first team snaps Saturday morning, and on consecutive plays hit DeVionte' Edmonson and Damion Dixon for 46 and 50 yard touchdowns respectively.

True freshman Reynaldo Young led the way on the ground for the Pokes with 57 yards, and Champlain Babin had two touchdowns.

Terence Cahee had two interceptions and linebacker Geremy Pilate had two tackles for loss on the defensive side of the ball.

Head coach Matt Viator hopes to name his starting quarterback by Monday, when the Pokes return to the practice field.
