OAKDALE, LA (KPLC) - Police in Oakdale and the Allen Parish Sheriff's Office rearrested an Oakdale High School student on Monday after authorities say he called in multiple bomb threats, including some to Oakdale High School, during a recent three month period.
17-year-old Brandon T. Bonner of Oakdale was arrested on Monday on one felony count of Communicating false information of planned bombing on school property. He posted a $1,500 bond on Monday and was released from the Allen Parish Jail.
On Wednesday, after further investigation, detectives arrested and charged Bonner with three counts of Communicating of false information of planned bombing on school property, and two counts of Communicating of false information of bomb threats on a business.
Bonner was booked into the Allen Parish Jail and is awaiting bond.

Police have confirmed a man died earlier this week inside the Sulphur City Jail. According to Mel Estess, spokesman for the Sulphur Police Department, the man was arrested Tuesday, put in a cell alone, and died. Police are not giving any word on how he died or releasing his identity. The coroner's report is not complete according to Estess. KPLC will update this story as more information becomes available.
