Westlake city council to discuss suspension

WESTLAKE, LA (KPLC) - On Monday, the Westlake City Council will hold a regular agenda meeting. The council is expected to go into executive session to discuss Police Chief Jeremy Cryer's decision to suspend his competitor in the race for Westlake Police Chief, Michael Dickerson.

Chief Cryer is said to have suspended Dickerson over a situation stemming from an argument between Dickerson and a salon owner about a political campaign sign.
