Overturned 18-wheeler near I-10 in Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - An 18-wheeler overturned on an access road near Interstate 10 westbound by the Opelousas Street exit earlier on Thursday morning.

The accident was first reported around 7:20 a.m.

No word yet on what the exact cause of the wreck was.

    Flu season is upon us.  But according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, South Carolina, Mississippi and Louisiana are already seeing high levels of flu activity. If you drive down the stretch of Division Street, in between Ryan and Bilbo, you're probably used to avoiding a sinkhole.
