TEMPERATURES THIS WEEKEND WILL BECOME OPPRESSIVE WITH THE STRENGTHENING
HIGH OVERHEAD. AFTERNOON HIGHS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WILL REACH 100
ACROSS THE I-10 CORRIDOR...WITH LOWER 100S EXPECTED NORTH OF US-190.
COUPLED WITH DEW POINTS IN THE LOWER 70S...HEAT INDEX READINGS WILL
RANGE 107 TO 111 DURING THE TIME OF MAXIMUM HEATING. NIGHTTIME LOWS
WILL BE HARD PRESSED TO FALL BELOW 80 DEGREES EACH NIGHT.
