LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - The 4 P.M. Saturday advisory on Bonnie from the National Hurricane Center will be the last one issued.  The NHC has determined Bonnie lost the tropical characteristics and structure required to be considered a tropical depression.  Bonnie is barely packing winds of 30mph and most showers have been removed from the center.  She is now classified as a post-tropical depression or a remnant low spinning off the coast of Southeastern Louisiana.

This low continues to spin as it progresses northwestward toward the coast of Southeastern Louisiana.  It's expected to arrive late tonight or early Sunday morning bringing not much more than some clouds, isolated showers, and a few gusts of wind from time to time.  The low is forecast to dissipate rapidly, dying completely by late Sunday morning or early Sunday afternoon.
