LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - After much anticipation, the Android X was released on Thursday.  Verizon Wireless in Lake Charles said they opened their doors at 7am and after about 5 hours, they were completely sold out.

Some of the phone's new features are its 1 gigahertz processor, its 8 megapixel camera and its 4.3 inch HD screen.  Recently, the company has just signed a contract with NFL Mobile that allows you to view games on your phone.

Store Rep. Derek Wyble says, "you actually will be able to watch football games live on your phone on Thursdays and Sundays through the N-F-L Mobile Application which will be on the Android operating system."

He then added, "some games are not always aired...NBC, CBS or what not and that can be another way to maybe catch the Saints game if its going to be on the N-F-L Network."

If you weren't able to get one, Verizon says they are expecting another shipment on Friday, but it's on a first come basis.

Portions of Iowa have been left swamped by recent heavy rains, especially from Harvey. Wednesday night, residents voiced their opinions on how the town should find a solution to its drainage quagmire. "The biggest thing is just maintaining the ditches," said Iowa resident Warren Hanks. "They're doing it now, but that's after the fact." One-by-one, Iowa residents approached town leaders and emotionally asked for solutions. Many said the town hasn't been clean...
