LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office detectives arrested a Prairieville man on Wednesday for online solicitation of a juvenile.

41-year-old Charles Landry was arrested by Vice detectives after an investigation revealed Landry has sexually explicit conversations via the Internet with a person he believed to be a 14-year-old juvenile, but was actually a Calcasieu Parish Vice detective.

Authorities say Landry also exposed himself via webcam to the detective he believed was the 14-year-old girl.

CPSO Vice detectives, who are also members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, were assisted by Louisiana State Police Troops D and A in traveling to Prairieville to arrest Landry on a warrant for computer aided solicitation of a minor.

Landry was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

A judge set his bond at $15,000.
