LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Two people were arrested at a home in Lake Charles on Tuesday when detectives with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force investigated a complaint of illegal drug activity at the home.

Kenneth Augenstein, 58, and Patricia Roger, 54, were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. They were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A judge set their bond at $5,000 each.

Detectives entered the home on Swanee Street on Tuesday and found around one pound of marijuana. The marijuana was packaged in numerous plastic baggies that were concealed in the freezer inside the home.
