Probe continues in fatal roller coaster fall

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - The State Fire Marshal's Office has not yet found any causes to the incident that led to the falling death of 21-year-old Lindsay Zeno at Dixie Landin' in Baton Rouge.

Fire Marshal Butch Browning tells The Advertiser the investigation will not be complete until they meet with the manufacturer of The Xtreme roller coaster, Germany-based Maurer Sohne.

Zeno died Sunday night after falling off the ride. Browning said inspectors are still unsure of what caused the fatal incident.

Browning said earlier this week that preliminary inspections didn't show any failure or malfunction on the ride, but they were also looking into the seat and restraining devices.

Browning said roller coaster will remain closed during the investigation.
