The following is a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

Lake Charles, LA – On June 29, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office received a call from an employee of Carlyss Water Works in Sulphur regarding a burglary.

The investigation revealed a white male broke into the building by unscrewing the outer metal wall and peeled back the tin. After he entered the building he pried open a coke machine, causing damage to it, and took and undisclosed amount of cash and change.

This man is believed to be responsible for numerous other burglaries throughout the Sulphur area. After reviewing the pictures from the surveillance camera it appears the man has a tattoo or scar on his upper left shoulder.

The Sheriff's Office needs the public's help in identifying this man.  If anyone recognizes him or has any information regarding him or his whereabouts, please call CPSO Detective Glenn Lowery at 494-4552 or Crimestoppers at 439-2222.
