LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - A Sulphur man has been arrested on charges of aggravated battery during a disturbance at a bar in Lake Charles on June 25.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a bar on Ryan Street after receiving a call about a disturbance at the bar.

Their investigation revealed that a patron of the bar instigated a fight that reportedly escalated into a large bar brawl that resulted in the stabbing or cutting of four people.

The four injured victims were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for their injuries and released. Two of the victims' injuries were severe enough that they may require future medical treatment.

Further investigation led to the arrest of 31-year-old Ron Boudreaux of Sulphur. He was arrested for allegedly stabbing the four victims.

He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and has been charged with battery and four counts of aggravated battery.

His bond has been set at $10,500.
