LAKE CHARLES, La. — L'Auberge du Lac Casino Resort, a luxury 242-acre Texas Hill Country-themed resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana, announces the recent hiring of Bruce Thai to the position of Executive Asian Casino Host.
In his position, Thai will focus on establishing and nurturing client relationships within the Asian community and coordinating special events related to the Asian market. The player development executive will also provide guidance, direction and leadership to other casino hosts at L'Auberge; a 26-story hotel complex with approximately 1,000 rooms and suites, a championship golf course, full service spa, extensive meeting space and a casino featuring 63 table games and 1,600 slot machines.
Thai will focus on expanding awareness and excitement of L'Auberge within the Asian gaming community as a premier Vegas-style resort destination. In addition, he will work to develop on-property programs, amenities and experiences that cater specifically to the needs and wishes of Asian clientele.
"Bruce's more than 10 years of guest service and niche experience will ensure that L'Auberge reaches a critical market population in the Houston area and throughout Texas and the region," said Kirk Houser, senior director of player development. "His expertise and enthusiasm will provide our Asian clientele with a specialized and memorable gaming resort experience."
Prior to joining L'Auberge, Thai was executive casino host for the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana and for Harrah's Casino in New Orleans. In that capacity, he worked with high end international players and coordinated all property Asian events.
