Suspects arrested in connection to the body found in Vernon Parish

LEESVILLE, LA (KPLC) - Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of Christopher Hoffpauir, whose body was discovered on Monday in Vernon Parish on Garwood Busby Rd.

Vernon Parish Sheriff's Detectives arrested 20-year-old Kristyn Hoffpauir and 23-year-old Justin Sizemore of Lecompte, LA on Wednesday.

Kristyn is the estranged wife of Christopher Hoffpauir.

Both have been charged with 1st Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

A bond of $750,000 has been set for both suspect and they are both currently being held in the Vernon  Parish Jail.
