LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - An update in a Crackdown on Crime cold case: You may remember in October 2008 when three men - armed with guns broke into a woman's apartment on Kirkman Street. According to Lake Charles Police, two suspects held the woman hostage while a third wearing a mask took her ATM card and tried to get money from her account at a nearby bank.

The other two suspects were arrested through DNA evidence and now police identify the third suspect as Brady Chatman. Police say Chatman may have eluded them for nearly two years but they're ready to close this case.

"For our victims we work for we will not stop working these cases. So this proves that two years later this guy is running the roads, thinking he has gotten away with this home invasion and terrorizing this poor lady and in fact what has happened is that we have been working this case the whole time and we are hot on his tail," said Sgt. Mark Kraus with Lake Charles Police.

Chatman stands 5'10" and weighs approximately 150 pounds. A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with knowledge of Brady Chatman's whereabouts is asked to call Lake Charles Police at 491-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 439-2222.
