LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - On the morning of February 26, 2009, Helen Webb was found dead inside her home on Topsy Road.  After a 16 month investigation, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office have found a suspect, Carl Webb, Jr., her grandson.

Webb, Jr. has  currently been in custody at the Calcasieu Correctional Center since March of 2009 for unrelated charges.

Sheriff Tony Mancuso says the arrest should give the family some closure and that, "we're confident he is our murder suspect."

Neighbors didn't want to go on camera, but they described Helen as a sweet lady, who minded her business and that Carl Webb, Jr. was a man with a few problems, and sort of had a split personality.

Webb, Jr. is being charged with 1st degree murder and is being held without bond.
