No indictment in deadly police shooting

From KPLC Staff:

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC)-The Calcasieu Grand Jury Thursday decided not to indict a Lake Charles police officer involved in a deadly shooting. 29-year-old Warren Lawrence was shot and killed inside a home on Elms Street in February. Police say they were inside the home investigating a burglary, when Lawrence entered behind them armed with a gun. Investigators say that's when Lawrence was shot. State Police handled the investigation and turned over the evidence to the Calcasieu District Attorney's office who in turn presented it to the Grand Jury.
