Town of Ragley reacts to fatal fire

By Adam Hooper - bio | email

RAGLEY, LA (KPLC) - The town of Ragley is still in shock, after hearing of the tragic fire that claimed the lives of four young children. Now, the community is looking for ways to help out.

As parents lined up to pick their children up from South Beauregard Elementary School, they had some words of encouragement for the LeBleu family.

"We are just praying for them. We wish them well," said Lora Cooley

"I just want to let them know that the community is here to support them, and our prayers are with you," said Shantell Habetz

People from all over the community are looking for ways to help out. One woman wants to donate baby clothes. The South Beauregard Elite Cheerleading Gym is sponsoring a car wash and bake sale on Friday, May 14. For anyone who would like to donate money to the Lebleu family, an account has been set up in the name of Michael and Amy LeBleu. To donate, stop by and Cameron State Bank.
