Sulphur Police searching for bank robbery suspect

SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) - Sulphur Police are seeking information in connection to a bank robbery that happened on Monday morning.

The incident happened at the Whitney Bank branch on Ruth Street in Sulphur just after 10:00 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the location to investigate the robbery. They were told that a white male who was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue t-shirt, sunglasses and a baseball hat fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect appeared to be around 40 years of age.
