LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) –    The St. Louis Catholic High School baseball team will have to forfeit victories that involve an ineligible player.

Jason Oertling, the schools athletic director, told 7Sports that he was notified verbally by the LHSAA about the team's ineligible player. As a result the team will have to forfeit all victories in which the student played in. Oertling says the player was deemed ineligible because of a change in residence.

Oertling still hopes the teams power ranking will be good enough to make the playoffs.

The school will receive a written ruling from the LHSAA on Monday.
