LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) – It wasn't the Nationwide debut that Mikey Kile wanted, but the Westlake native still has more Nationwide races to compete in.
Kile suffered a set back in the race, finishing 33rd in the race at Nashville Superspeedway after he was involved in a wreck.
Kile qualified in the 25th position to start the race and worked his way up to 19th, but lap 114 proved to be a challenge. #66 Steve Wallace, #35 Jason Keller, and #16 Colin Braun, were involved in a wreck in front of #10 Kile, who also ended up tangled in the mess.
After the race Kile said, "Some guys decided to make it four wide going into turn three, they wrecked and we had no place to go, got tangled up in the middle of it, but wish it would have went a little better, but that's racing I guess.
I run a full ARCA Remax series schedule so I race in Indiana next weekend and I'll just take one of these as a learning experience and go on to the next one… Put this one behind you and go win the race next weekend."
