LAKE CHARLES, LA. (KPLC) - A man accused of having sex with a teen at LaGrange High School last year has pleaded guilty.  Marcus Lafanette admits to having oral sex with a fifteen year old girl last March when he was a substitute teacher at LaGrange.

He's pleaded to felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile which could bring up to ten years in prison and up to a $5000 fine. Judge David Ritchie has ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Sentencing is set for 9 a.m., Wednesday, June 23.

Between now and the sentencing Ritchie has ordered Lafanette to have no contact with the victim or her family and no unsupervised contact with minor children except for his own four year old child.
