United Way Kicks Off Raffle for Drew Brees/Blue Dog Print

The following is a news release from The United Way of Southwest Louisiana.

LAKE CHARLES, LA— Who Dat? Drew Brees and Blue Dog! United Way of Southwest Louisiana is supporting the community and our new NFL Super Bowl champions, the New Orleans Saints with a raffle, giving fans a chance to win a George Rodrigue print of Drew Brees and Blue Dog, signed by both Brees and Rodrigue.

A drawing will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, during the United Way Leaders & Legends Annual Meeting at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Raffle tickets are $10 and winners do not need to be present to win.

"Not only are we thrilled that the Saints won the Super Bowl but we are so pleased to have the  support of the NFL, Drew Brees, and George Rodrigue," said Denise Durel, president and CEO of United Way of Southwest Louisiana. "What an exciting time for the Saints but also for our entire state!"

Raffle tickets are available at United Way of Southwest Louisiana, 715 Ryan St., Suite 102, or by calling 337.433.1088. All proceeds benefit United Way of Southwest Louisiana.

By the afternoon, we should have partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be a little warmer in the middle 80s. It will also be a windy day.
