Local church gathers relief for Haiti

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church is held a prayer meeting today at 6:00 to pray for the people of Haiti, and to give both a monetary offering and an offering of supplies and materials.

NEEDS LIST FOR HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

Generators- all sizes, Gas and Diesel

Nylon Rope- 1/4" (comes in 600 ft spools) - can use as many as possible

Rice in 100 lb sacks

Beans in 100 sacks

Cooking Oil

Meals Ready to Eat

Electrolyte Powder

#10 cans of Beans and Vegetables

Portable Halogen Lights - 500 watt with stands

Extension Cords

Portable Shower and Toilet Trailer

#12 Extension Cords-any length

Flashlights

Gloves

Dust Masks

Powdered Milk

Jet Fuel
