Accomplice arrested in Sulphur armed robbery case

SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) - A second arrest was made on Friday in connection with the robbery at a Circle K on Wednesday morning in Sulphur.

30-year old Breezie Fontenot of Westlake was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for attempted armed robbery and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.

Through a tip received by the authorities in Sulphur, detectives were told Fontenot was involved in the robbery. She is reportedly the girlfriend of Shannon O'Quinn - who was recently arrested.

She allegedly drove the vehicle that dropped O'Quinn off to commit the robbery. After doing so, she drove to a nearby trailer park to wait for him. She then drove him to Westlake.

Fontenot's bond was set at $20,000, per Judge Wilford D. Carter.

O'Quinn is still being held on a $50,000 bond per Judge Charlie Schrumpf for attempted armed robbery and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.

Chief Chris Abrahams would like to personally thank the media and especially those who called Crime Stoppers giving information making these arrests possible. "Citizens getting involved in solving crimes works and we appreciate it".
