NEW ORLEANS, LA (KPLC) – The Saints have clinched homefield advantage with the Minnesota Vikings 36-30 loss to the Chicago Bears.

The Saints clinched because they will have a stronger overall record than then the Vikings whether they win or lose against the Carolina Panthers.

With the Vikings loss tonight, they fall to 11-4. If the Vikings beat the New York Giants in their last game, they only be 12-4.

The Saints with a win will improve to 14-2, with a loss they'll fall to 13-3, which is still a better overall record than the Vikings.

The Saints face the Panthers on the road this Sunday at noon.
