DeQuincy's Kellogg makes 2A All-State team

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - A local high school football player has been named to the class 2A All-State football team.

DeQuincy's Caleb Kellogg has been named to the first-team offense.  He was a wide receiver for the Tigers this season.

The Louisiana Sports Writers Association makes the lists.

Four other players on our 23 local high school teams received honorable mentions:  Lake Arthur's Auldon Robinson, South Beauregard's Dakota Cryer, along with Welsh's Will Guidry and Jordon Hebert.

Lake Arthur (8-2), DeQuincy (7-3), Welsh (8-2), and South Beauregard (9-1) all finished with records of 7-3 or better this season.
