LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Governor Bobby Jindal was also a guest at last week's White House state dinner - an event that had two now infamous uninvited guests. Tareq and Michaele Salahi managed to get pass security, and get next to the President. While he didn't see the Salahi's, Gov. Jindal did comment on the apparent breech in White House security.

"I'm sure that there are congressional oversight committee meetings and I'm sure they are going to make sure they tighten up their procedures. And I think that is a good thing. But at the end of the day, I hope we don't forget that these men and women everyday they risk their lives for the President and the First Lady - and they do a very important job for the country," said Jindal.

Meanwhile, there's word the couple has declined an invitation to testify before a congressional committee about what happened.
