LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - A South Beauregard High School football player was airlifted to the hospital Friday night after he was injured during the playoff game.
Senior running back Dakota Crier was injured after he was tackled in the first half. He was taken off the field on a cart, and taken in an ambulance to a waiting helicopter.
Crier was airlifted to a hospital in Lake Charles. There's no official word on his condition, but South Beauregard High School principal Marlin Ramsey told 7 News that the player's outlook was good.
