LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Our friends over at GAP Broadcasting—home of Gator 99.5, FUN Radio 92.9 The Lake, KISS FM 92.1 and 107 JAMZ— are hosting the annual Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon this Wednesday, November 11th through Friday, November 13th.  The 36-hour live broadcast will take place each day from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

From miracles to mischief, triumphs and tribulations, tune in to hear stories of local kids and area non-profit agencies that have received assistance through Children's Miracle Network funding.

"Similar to a telethon, families and area organizations share their stories of hope and healing with the community while volunteers man the phones and take pledges of support," says Sara Cormier, GAP Broadcasting General Manager.  "Our goal is to raise funds to help improve pediatric medical care services and health education opportunities throughout the Southwest Louisiana Region.  We are proud supporters of the Children's Miracle Network."

Listeners may call (337) 437-7155 or click here throughout the live broadcast and make a donation.
