Two missing Jennings girls are found

JENNINGS, LA (KPLC) - According to authorities, the two girls who were missing in Jennings have been found.

Brook Bryant, 14, and Janisha Castille, 12, were both found on Friday afternoon. Both girls are reportedly safe, and are in the custody of the Jennings Police Department pending notification of the OCS and DA office.

Police were looking for the missing girls in the south side of town.

Investigators say that 14-year old Brook Bryant was at a friend's house on Wednesday, and she did not return home. Brook's grandmother went by the house and Brook was not there, so she called police.

Investigators tell 7 News Brook's parents have been cited for Improper Supervision of Juveniles. According to Jennings Police Jail records, Angella Kaye and Michael Wayne Bryant are behind bars for not reporting Brook's attempt to runway.
