LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Jonathan Boyer is sentenced to life in prison for the execution style murder of Bradlee Marsh-- plus Judge Mike Canaday gave him 104 years for armed robbery with a firearm.
Canaday told Boyer he was giving him the maximum sentence on the robbery with a gun in part because of his lack of remorse and the heinous nature of the crime. Boyer shot Marsh three times in the head and was convicted of 2nd degree murder which carries a mandatory life sentence.
After killing Marsh, Boyer fled to Florida where he was eventually captured by police.
Marsh was killed on Super Bowl Sunday in 2002 after picking up Boyer and his brother in the Bayou d'Inde Road area.
