Four teenagers die in car crash

GIBSON, LA (AP) - Louisiana State Police say four teens died and a fifth was critically injured when a stolen car ran off a curve and hit a tree.

Trooper Gilbert Dardar Jr. says it happened about 7:15 a.m. Sunday. He says all five occupants were from the town of Gibson. He identifies the one survivor as 17-year-old Darius Stewart. The accident killed 15-year-old driver Demetrius Trahan, and 18-year-old Joshua Trahan, 16-year-old Dominic Hanzy and 18-year-old Donta Stewart.

It was the second wreck in two days to kill four people. In Baton Rouge, four people from Ashburn, Ga., died after their pickup truck was hit from behind and burst into flames early Friday. State Police Lt. David Conaway says the one survivor - 22-year-old Rito Gomez - remains in critical condition.
