3 new H1N1 virus deaths confirmed in Louisiana

Lake Charles, LA (KPLC)-3 more deaths blamed on the H1N1 or Swine Flu virus have been confirmed in Louisiana. The Department of Health and Hospitals confirms that a man and a female child died in the New Orleans area, and a man died in the Lafayette area. DHH says the three people died within the last week bringing the total number of deaths blamed on H1N1 in the state to 11.

    It's not unusual to hear complaints about the U.S. Postal Service in our area. The latest comes from a neighborhood off Nelson Road where residents say they no longer get daily delivery. "Whether snow, sleet or rain or whatever it   should be delivered," said Terry Bellard, who lives at Smith Village mobile home community. Residents say their mail is no longer delivered regularly.
