Lake Charles, LA (KPLC)-A man wanted in a deadly crime spree remains on the run. Jonathan Scott Latham is wanted for murder and attempted murder. Authorities in Iberia Parish say Latham is the suspect in the murder of an elderly man. The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office says 78-year-old Oscar Figueroa was murdered this morning in Coteau. Figueroa's 11-year-old granddaughter was also injured, she's was taken to hospital. That incident happened, just hours after authorities in Vermilion Parish believe Latham attacked a 17-year-old boy. The teen's throat was cut, he was treated and released. Authorities believe Latham is driving a stolen Black 2008 Honda Civic with a handicapped parking tag. Anyone who sees Latham is urged to contact their local enforcement immeadiately.
