UPDATE: Missing Woman from Welsh Found

Lake Charles, LA (KPLC): Authorities in Jeff Davis Parish say a missing woman from Welsh has been found overnight. 

Welsh Police say 20-year old Bethany Genice Beauregard was rfound this morning around 2 a.m. She was reported missing after she failed to show up for work on Thursday. She was last seen at her parents house around 1:00am Thursday.

Authorities have not given us the specifics of where she was found and what led to her being unaccounted for, but we are working to get more details as the investigation continues.

    Jazz music has been a staple of Louisiana's culture for many years, and you can help celebrate it this weekend. The Gulf Coast Shrimp and Jazz Festival runs Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lake Charles Civic Center on Saturday, June 23rd.
