LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Beauregard Parish authorities are looking for the person(s) responsible for setting the concession stand at South Beauregard High School Football Field on fire Thursday night, causing $70,000 of damages.
The Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office says it responded to a call received at 11:30 p.m. and found the concession stand fully engulfed in flames. Authorities say all of the freezers, concessions and other items meant for Friday night's game were consumed. An attempt was also made to set the restroom on fire, but deputies say the suspect(s) failed.
