Sex predator's request denied by judge

A Calcasieu Parish judge denied a motion to withdraw a guilty plea against accused sex preditor Joseph Molitor.

In June, Joseph Molitor pled gulity to three counts of indecent behavior and two counts of aggravated incest and was sheduled to be sentenced Wednesday. Molitor's charges go back as early as 1992 and as recently as 2003. However, before Molitor was scehdduled to be sentenced, he filed a motion to withdraw his guilty plea; it was denied. The judge sentenced Molitor to fifty one years in prison. The Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's office says Molitor will only serve fifteen years.
