LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - The Ward One Fire Department of Moss Bluff is a combination fire department that runs 24/7 with a fully staffed paid fire crew, supplemented by volunteers. If you live in the Moss Bluff area and would like to become a volunteer firefighter with the Ward One Fire District, please contact them by either a phone call or a visit.  The department is continuously accepting new volunteers.

Phone:
337-217-0630

Address:
Ward One Fire, Station 5
1240 Joe Miller Road
Lake Charles LA 70611

If you live elsewhere in our viewing area, please get in touch with your local volunteer fire department to find out how you can help.  Odds are, they are looking for additional volunteers to boost the ranks.  The ways you can help are limitless and doesn't only involve firefighting.  The best way to find out where you may fit in is to call or visit your local volunteer fire department.  Take it from me, a ten year volunteer firefighter and EMT while living in Pennsylvania, departments all across our country are struggling for more help, from people like you.  Do something for your community and for yourself by reaching out and volunteering with your local fire department.
