Funeral services for slain Jeff Davis woman

Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Friday for 27 year old Necole Guillory of Lake Arthur, whose body was found along side Interstate 10 in Acadia Parish Wednesday night.

Visitation will run from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. and resume at 7 a.m. Saturday until the time of service which is 10 a.m. Saturday morning at Matthews and Son Funeral Home at 511 N. Cutting Avenue in Jennings.  There will be a rosary at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

No word yet on the cause and manner of Guillory's death.  An autopsy was done at the Calcasieu Coroner's Office in Lake Charles, but the results have not been released.

Guillory is the 8th woman from Jeff Davis to have died under mysterious circumstances since 2005.  She was reported missing Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. by her mother.  The body was found scarcely an hour later off I-10 in Acadia.

Anyone with information that may help authorities determine what happened to Guillory or any of the other victims is urged to call the Multi-Agency Investigative Task Force at 824-6662.
