LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - A Lake Charles toddler dies after being ran over. Lake Charles Police Sergeant Mark Kraus tells 7 News paramedics responded to a call Friday night around 8:15 in the 3600 block of Lawrence Lane. According to Kraus the child's father, Jared Vidos, was leaving the home and thought all of his children were inside when he unknowingly backed over the boy.

Attempts to resuscitate four year old Grady Vidos were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. At this time police believe it was an accident, but say the investigation is ongoing.
