BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Chase is closing an operations center in Baton Rouge employing 247 people.
Chase is the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
The bank said Thursday that it was combining the operations of the center, which handles account maintenance for consumer customers, with existing centers in San Antonio, Columbus, Ohio, and Houston.
Chase says Baton Rouge workers in good standing could transfer to the other three cities.
