HARVEY, La. (AP) - Deputies say a 19-year-old Marrero man has been arrested in the shooting death of a Harvey man found behind a daiquiri shop near his home.
Sgt. Larry Dyess, a spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, tells The Times-Picayune that 23-year-old Ronald Smith was found shortly after 3:30 a.m. Monday. Authorities arrested Travis Dennis and booked him with second-degree murder.
Dennis was arrested at his home Monday afternoon.
No motive has been released in the shooting.
