LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Tulane's punter Ross Thevenot and offensive lineman Zach Morgan know all about Cowboy Stadium on a Saturday night.

They also know what it's like to wear a green uniform in the Superdome.

Both Thevenot and Morgan are Lake Charles natives and they will both battle against their hometown team, McNeese State, on September 26th.

Thevenot is an All-America candidate this season.  He went to St. Louis Catholic High School right here in Lake Charles.  He says this game should be strange.

"It is going to be really weird," Thevenot said.  "I was just back in Lake Charles (recently).  I got to catch a little of the Savannah State game.  I was talking to my Mom and Dad.  It's real weird.  I didn't miss a McNeese game from the time I was about two years old until I was in high school."

As for Morgan, he graduated from Sam Houston High School last season.  The true freshman will make his first career collegiate start against the McNeese State Cowboys.

"This is definitely a game I'm glad I'm getting a chance to start.  I think it's going to be real exciting," Morgan said.

"It's going to be a weird deal," Thevenot said. "I grew up a big McNeese fan.  So this will be neat."
