ZACHARY, La. (AP) - A Northeast High School student has been arrested and accused of battering his school's assistant principal.
Police say 17-year-old Terrance Dekeith Jackson got into a fight with another student at Northeast High.
Authorities say the school's principal and assistant principal were battered by both students as they tried to break up the fight.
Jackson was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count each of battery of a school teacher and disturbing the peace.
