Today has indeed been the hottest day of the year with temperatures in the 90s to near 100 degrees in spots with humidity making it feel close to 110 for many areas. The rest of the night looks muggy but there will be a isolated chance at a pop up thunderstorm as a cold front runs through the area.
We'll continue a 20% chance of isolated storm early Wednesday morning south of the metro. By the afternoon, mostly to partly sunny skies will dominate along with a drop in humidity and highs only in the mid to upper 80s for most.
