Leroy Joseph Schreve, 67, of Sulphur died Sunday, February 10, 2008 in his residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, Leroy was a graduate of Landry High School of Lake Charles serving his country in the US Navy. Leroy owned and operated a Railcar Inspection Company working throughout the United States until his retirement in 2001. He was a former member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Nederland. He enjoyed the outdoors especially riding his Harley. He is survived by four children, Lee Schreve and wife Cathie of the Sulphur / Vinton area, Rick Schreve and wife Margaret of Moss Bluff and Tori Schreve and Dylan Schreve, both of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren, Teressa Stallion, Rhonda Baker, Michelle Mallard, Rebecca Schreve, Amanda Schreve, Christopher Miller, Anne Melville and Julie Webb; twelve great- grandchildren, Allison Stallion, Amber Baker, Dean Schreve, Haylie Baker, Tristan Stallion, Caressa Miller, Colten Miller, Camryn Miller, Candace Miller, Sofia Melville, Ava Melville and Caroline Webb; two brothers, Marshall Schreve and Wayne Schreve; two sisters, Jeanene Louviere and Ava Mallary and the mothers of his children, Lynda Pritchett and Yvette Schreve. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lois Schreve and his brother, Robert P. Schreve, Sr. Memorial services will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
