A 34 year old man is dead this morning after he was involved in a motorcycle accident with a truck.

It happened on Highway 90. Officials believe the man on the motorcycle was heading east when he collided with the heavy duty truck.

Officials say when they arrived on the scene, they found the motorcyclist  pinned underneath the truck.

Sergeant Mark Kraus with the Lake Charles Police Department says the driver of the motorcycle died at the scene.  "The driver of the truck was not injured."
