I-10: Eastbound left lane closed at FM 105 until 3 p.m.

The Franklin St. railroad crossing, which has been closed since Tuesday, May 26, will remain temporarily closed pending a "Quiet Zone" application and a final determination related to noise issues.
On May 20, the City Council adopted an ordinance authorizing the City to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with Union Pacific Railroad for the temporary closure of the Franklin St. crossing to eliminate the horn noise.
