A Beauregard Parish jury has found Timothy Brannon guilty of eight counts of molestation and four counts of sexual battery.
The six-member, all-male jury deliberated for about an hour before returning guilty verdicts on each of the 12 counts. Brannon was accused of molestation in April 2005 after eight girls at Pine Wood Elementary School said he inappropriately touched them in class.
All the girls were under age 12 when the allegations were made. The students were not in Brannons classroom, but he taught them math for one period of the school day. Brannon maintains he did not molest the girls.
Judge Stuart S. Kay Junior set Brannons sentencing for November 9th.
